Il nostro pluripremiato succo di prugna si differenzia dagli altri succhi di frutta perché non viene ottenuto spremendo frutta fresca, ma è prodotto tradizionalmente utilizzando prugne essiccate lentamente, provenienti da varietà più piccole e dense rispetto a quelle da tavola più succose. Dopo essere state reidratate, viene estratto il succo per ottenere una bevanda ricca e corposa, praticamente priva di grassi.
